GEEK LOVE ~ Nick and Amy

Dear Sweet on Geeks,

I attended a sweet on geeks promotional singles night at Double Midnight Comics in that they were holding the day before my birthday. I had a lot of fun that night, played some board games, met some nice people, and then I saw Amy. Amy came in with her sister and a friend about 20 minutes after the event started. I noticed her right away. I didn't say hi right off but I knew who I was gonna give my valentine to. Throughout the night I kept glancing over to look at her because she was/is gorgous and I thought she kept looking at me as well.
One of the Sweet on Geeks people was talking with her pretty much the whole night. Now I know what they were talking about.......me! Amy was a little too shy to come over and say hi and the lady kept telling her to just talk to me. She didnt like anyone else and the same went for me. Her sister was reading tarot cards so I asked her if she would read mine. During that time I started talking with Amy.....you know... small talk and it turned out we were going for the same career and she was going to school very close to where I was headed.
The night ended rather well and when she left I decided to give her a hug. We exchanged phone numbers and I went home. The next day was my birthday. I had a huge party with a lot of people and had a ton of fun. That night I messaged Amy to tell her how my party went and how nice it was to meet her. I said I wanted to see her again the next day. Since then we have hung out a few times and its funny....we kept meeting at Double Midnight Comics. About 5 or 6 days after we met we decided to start dating.
Now we see each other as often as possible and it will be our 4 month anniversary this soon. We are very happy together and in love.

I just wanted to let you guys know that Amy and I are thankful for you created this site and aligned with Double Midnight Comics for a Geek Singles Night. Because if you hadn't... we never would have met. I thank you because I've never been happier in my life. I know it sounds corny but its true.

Sincerely,
Nick
