We are so happy to tell you that we are recently engaged as a result of meeting on your site. I work in education and Michael works in film. I signed up to the site thinking it was a nice departure from mainstream sites but didn't have very high expectations. I was quite content, at first, to just make some new friends and have fun chatting. I tend to be busy with my career and very much a homebody so meeting someone in the "real world" was looking hopeless.
Michael sent me an alien as a token of affection and this made for an easy lead in because of our mutual love of sci-fi. Our emails were so flirty and full of laughter because we were able to just be ourselves. It felt right. Our first date was to the Science Museum. He swept me off my feet in the "living sea" section! lol
Thanks so much for your quirky and fun website. We are now happily together over six months and going strong.
